80 Cores on a chip. What is that, Deca-Octa-Core?

You’ll need one hefty 10 core machine just to generate the code to run on it<g>.

Betcha it’s the size of a waffle iron, and generates about as much heat. The laptop edition will come with its own liquid-cooled backpack.

What’s that do to context switches, ya gotta wonder?

The pipelining algorithym has to be surreal.

Um… I just looked, and I’ve got 690 threads alive on my system. Does that mean I should wait for the Intel 800-core chip before upgrading?
